Redentore

The Redentore is the most enthusiastically celebrated event on the Venetian calendar, and the one most dear to the hearts of Venetians.

In addition to its religious origins, the festival is famous for its spectacular  fireworks display held one night in July over the San Marco basin , and for the three regattas of traditional Venetian boats organized the following day. The event attracts a vast audience from all over the world.
